MeMa and WeeOne

Hannah, Papa and I went to visit MeMa, Papa Charlie and WeeOne today. Hannah likes to tell WeeOne what to do and chance her around. I am glad that she took a few minutes to sit with MeMa.

fun with Mattison

Hannah had a great time playing with Mattison. Sophia played with them too, but I did not get her in any of the pictures. The girls had fun going potty, having a tea party, coloring with markers and hanging on the treadmill. Hannah watched Mattison get a bath and played in the water but would not get in the tub. Thanks for having us over, we all had a great time. The girls are so fun to watch.

Christmas at Nannie & Papa Paul's

Our last Christmas stop is at Nannie's. We had a good dinner and fun playing the dirty elephant game. Hannah climbed on the table and tried to open all the pictures. Paul made a noise at her. We were not sure if he would scare her. As you can see from the picture she was not scared, she laughed at him. She enjoyed singing the hockey pockey for everyone. Thanks for the presents for Hannah. She really seemed to enjoy Christmas this year. I have thought each time I watched her open presents, look at a Christmas tree, or give hugs to someone, "What was Christmas like before we had Hannah?" She has defiantly brought new meaning to Christmas. I am go thankful and blessed to have her.

Christmas at Mike & Nene's

When Hannah got up from her nap we opened presents with Mike, Nene and Aunt Lori. Thanks for all the presents.

Christmas at Nana & Papa's

We went to eat breakfast and do Christmas with Nana, Papa, Uncle Kyle and Aunt Katie this morning. Papa cooked pancakes, bacon and muffins for breakfast. It was very good. Hannah wanted to share her milk with Pooh. Thanks Great Papa and Grandma Edna for the big Pooh. While we were waiting on Aunt Katie, Hannah got to open her presents from Great Papa's house. Thanks to everyone for the presents and we hate we did not get to see you for Christmas. Aunt Katie got there as soon as Hannah opened the last present. Thanks Nana, Papa, Uncle Kyle and Aunt Katie for Hannah's presents. Thanks for ours too.

monkey see, monkey do

Uncle Kyle was laying in the floor and Hannah decided to lay beside him. He crossed his leg and she crossed her. She loves her Uncle Kyle and has great fun playing with him.

Christmas at MeMa & Papa Charlie's

After leaving Aunt Carol's we always go to Ma Dot's, MeMa's to the great grandchildren, to open presents with her. Hannah was more worried on WeeOne, the dog, than presents. All the grandchildren gave Ma Dot a picture of us. She had mentioned to me before that she would like to have an updated picture of all the grandchildren and a picture of Peyton and Hannah. I am glad we were able to give her what she wanted for Christmas. I tried to take a picture of MeMa, Peyton and Hannah, as you can tell it did not turn out as well as I had hoped. Thanks for the presents.

Christmas at Aunt Carol's

Every year on Christmas Eve we go to Aunt Carol's. I don't think Hannah remembers going last year, but she had a blast this year. She enjoyed the good food, opening presents and seeing family. Thanks for all the presents and good food.

what a 'do?!

like fathers like daughters

Marla and Hannah were sitting across from Travis and Derrick. They were enjoying visiting with each other.

Christmas at MeMe & PopPop's

Hannah had a good time at MeMe and PopPop's tonight. She enjoyed opening presents and holding Marla. Thank you to everyone for all the presents. Hannah was worn out from all the fun. She went straight to bed when we got back to Mike and Nene's without a fuss.

Christmas at Aunt Jan's

Aunt Jan started having all of us over for Christmas with Pa Tom eight years ago. She wanted to keep up the tradition even after Pa Tom passed away. I am glad she did. We enjoy getting to see and visit with everyone. Hannah had fun seeing Peyton and playing with Aunt Gay and Jarrod. Thanks for having us over Aunt Jan.

ready to ride

Hannah was ready for our trip to SC. She had her blanket, paci (which she only gets in the car and bed now) and her glasses. The sun was in her eyes and she wanted her glasses. She likes to put them on top of her head, like Derrick and I wear ours. She put them back on her face before I could take the picture.

the girls

Kara, Sarah and Jenny came over for dinner tonight. It was good to visit with them. We got to see Kara's wedding pictures. Hannah enjoyed entertaining them. Thanks girls for coming to the house so Hannah could play and we could visit. We will have to do it again soon.

shopping

We had to go to Opry Mills to get some gifts that we could not get in SC. Hannah was a real trooper. She found it fun to hang on the bar in the dressing room while I tried on some jeans.

such a good girl

Hannah has been so good today. She slept until 7:15. She was good at breakfast, we went to Cracker Barrel with Ruth, Susan and Stephanie. Then we went to the hospital to see Alan and Jenn. She was really good there. She let everyone hold her and gave Alan a hug before we left. Then we had to run a few errands. We got some lunch and then headed out again. One of my students asked me to come watch her play basketball. The game was at 1pm, so I was not sure how Hannah would do since that is in the middle of nap time. She was great! She clapped and cheering and had a great time. When we came home I told her she needed to rest for a little while. I put her in the bed and went to get clothes out of the dryer, when I came back up she was out. I hope she takes a good nap.

Who is having more fun?

I ordered Hannah this tricycle with pamper points. It finally came today. I was just going to put it downstairs and wait, but Derrick wanted to put it together. After he worked on it, Hannah helped a little, and he worked some more they tested it. Hannah thought is was great fun and Derrick enjoyed running through the house pushing her on it. Looks like hours of fun for the two of them.

Look what Santa brought

Since we are not going to be here for Christmas eve we decided to ask Santa to come early. We told him that Hannah needed a week to play with her new toys before she had to leave them. I think she liked what Santa brought. As soon as she saw the stroller she wanted her baby to put in it. She played on the sit and spin and laughed and laughed. When it was time for her treatment she wanted the baby beside her and she held her hand. We also read all three new books and did the puzzle during the treatment. She is really into Christmas this year. It was funny watching her play tonight.

Santa

Hannah only has one Christmas shirt this year. Last year she had about five Christmas outfits. She has three Christmas dresses, but we are saving those for Sunday's and Christmas get togethers. She likes to point at her shirt and say, "Santa say?" Then she wants you to say, "Ho, ho, ho!" She is too funny.

much better

Hannah is much better! She still has a little cough and runny nose, but is down to two treatments a day. I think we made everyone at daycare sick. She is back to eating and sleeping good. She had three pancakes, strawberries, blueberries and milk for dinner. We are glad she is back to her busy, busy, busy self.

better?

We went to the doctor at 1pm. The doctor thinks she sounds better and is not concerned. I think she sounds worse and that her throat hurts. The doctor said she sounds worse because her airway is open and I can hear the mucus. She said she just needs to cough to get it all up. I asked her about her not eating and saying her mouth hurts, which I think she means throat. She said as long as she eats one meal and day and drinks she is not concerned. She did not look at her throat after I asked her to. I am not happy to say the least. I am going to talk to our real doctor when we go back, which will hopefully be no time soon. If talking to her does not change things we will be looking for Hannah a new doctor. Hannah does act like she feels betters, but her cough still sounds really bad.

update

Hannah has not had a temperature over 100.1 since yesterday. She finally ate a whole sandwich tonight. She is still coughing a lot and sounds like a purring cat. I am going to call the doctor in the moring and take her in the afternoon. She slept well last night so I hope she will again tonight. Thanks for all the calls and prayers. I will keep everyone posted.

sick

Hannah has had a cough for over a month now. I took her to the doctor on November 28. The doctor said it was just a cold, but that her ears looked great and her chest sounded fine. She said if she was still coughing in a week to bring her back. By Saturday she was not coughing and her nose had quit running. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday were good days. When I picked her up on Wednesday she was coughing. I had read an email about putting Vic's on the bottom of your feet and putting socks on if you had a bad cough. I had read this more than once and thought I would give it a try. Well, I think it only made her cough worse. She did not sound wheezy so I was not worried. I called Thursday to check on her at lunch time. Nana said she had been asleep since a little after 10. That is not like her at all. I told her if she still acted like she did not feel well when she got up to call me. Sheri called at 2:30 to tell me that she was awake and was running a fever. I called the doctor and they said to come in. When I got her out of the car at the doctor's office I could hear her wheezing. The doctor said her ears look great but she chest did not sound good. She said it did not sound like pneumonia. She said to give her treatments every four hours and Tylenol or Motrin to treat the fever. If she is still coughing and has a fever on Monday we will go back and get a chest x-ray. She had a fever, 100.8, when I put her down for nap. I hear her coughing every once in a while in her sleep. We are just praying she is better by Monday and that it will not turn into anything major. I am planning on keeping her in all weekend.

picture with Santa

Well as you can see there is no picture. Deborah kept Hannah Friday night while we went to our Sunday school class party. When we picked Hannah up she told us how good she had done sitting in Santa's lap. She did not get a picture because Hannah was not in Christmas clothes and they are expensive for one picture. I asked when Santa would be at the club house. He was going to be there on Sunday. After church we went to eat then back to Deborah's to get Hannah dressed. She looked so cute in her Santa dress and said she wanted to see Santa. We got to the club house, she was fine. I walked up to Santa, she was not fine. She screamed and cried like I was beating her. Maybe I will send her in a Christmas outfit and with some money and have Aunt Debbie try her hand at a picture again before Christmas.
