how cute are they

Ty was Bob the Builder but did not want to have his picture made. He looked cute with is hard hat and hammer.

Happy Halloween!

We were glad to celebrate Halloween with friends tonight. We were also glad to have Mike and Nene with us. (I did not get any pictures of them, but they were here.) The kids had fun playing in the corn, eating, decorating cookies and pumpkins, and just running and playing. Hopefully we can make this a yearly tradition until the kids relaize they are suppose to go trick or treating and get candy.

she does not like it

Derrick gave her a treatment this morning with the new machine and he does not like it either. Tonight she asked for her "old treatment." I think I left this part off of the last post. I wanted two nebulizers so we can leave one at school, just in case she needs it there for an emergency. I was going to leave the old machine, but I guess I will be leaving the new one. She knows what she likes and wants.

new treatment

We got a new nebulizer while we were at the doctor today. She picked the fish one. She took a treatment with it tonight. It came with a fish mask that is a little too big of her. I like it better but she is not sure about it. We will see.

are you serious???

Hannah was up every two hours last night. She would not eat breakfast this morning and was really, really, really whinny. She did not have a fever so I took her on to school. I called as soon as the doctor office opened. I left school and went to get her so we could get to the doctor at 8:30. We did not get to see her doctor but it went okay. She has a terrible cough so I thought she would be wheezing. YEAH, she was not, but she does have an ear infection. The tube is completely out of the ear that is infected the other tube is half out. I am a little discouraged that the tube barely made it a year. She gave her an antibiotic and we have to go back in three weeks to get her ear rechecked.

trunk-or-treat

We went to Mrs. Jenn's and Alan's church tonight. Hannah wanted to go, then didn't want to go, then wanted to go. She did not nap today, but we went on. We knew she would have fun when we got there. Of course she fell asleep on the way there. She would not talk to Jenn, Alan or Rob. She talked about them that afternoon and when we got home. Thanks for inviting us and hopefully one day Hannah will talk to all of you.

Saturday morning before we left for the pumpkin patch I showed Hannah the pictures from last year. She has grown up a lot in a year. I was afraid when she saw herself asleep with the paci she would ask for on, but she never mentioned it.

the tag

We had a go shopping for Hannah some new jeans. She hates to try on clothes. As soon as you start to put them on her she says, "The tag is hurting me, take it out." Derrick wants to know how is knows it is called a tag. I am not sure, maybe she has heard one of us say tag before. She is a smart little girl and pretty good at figuring things out on her own. We did find jeans, and a few more cute articles of clothing.

what a day

Hannah had a big day today. We left the house a little before 8am. We had breakfast IHOP, went to the pumpkin path, went to see Uncle Bert's car at the car show, at lunch at the small, shopped for jeans and church shoes, played on the tree at the mall, then got in the car to come home. She was talking and talking and talking, then all of the sudden she was quiet and sound asleep. She took a good nap needless to say she was very tired. It was a fun but very busy day.

We did not loose Ty, he stayed to play in the corn with the shovel a little longer.

pumpkin patch

We had a great time at the pumpkin patch. We met Cooper and Ty there (along with their parents and baby Todd). We were glad that Nana and Papa were here to go with us as well. We thought Hannah had a good time last year but I think she really enjoyed this year. She liked the maze and the green slide the best. She enjoyed playing in the corn, looking at the animals, going on a hayride, swinging on and in the tire swing, riding the little tractors, etc. They all thought the geese were really funny. I think I have a video of them laughing but I have not downloaded it yet. Hannah got two pumpkins and was very happy with them. We were glad to spend the morning with family and friends.

time out

I do not remember what Hannah did, but she was sitting in time out and Nana captured it for us to remember for ever. Hannah would spend all day in time out and not really care. It is not always the most effective punishment for her, but does work at time.

flu shot

I took Hannah today to get her flu shot. She did good, but did cry a little. She watch Nurse Heather and did not cry until the shot was over. After she was given the Popsicle she was much better. When she told anyone about it she would say, "I got a shot, it hurt, I cry and get a Popsicle." She liked the band-aid and wanted me to take a picture of it. She is getting so big. She looks huge to me sitting on the couch.

Sunday School Social

We were glad to have everyone over to thank our last Sunday School teachers for all they did for us the last year. We had a good turn out and lots of fun. We were glad that everyone could come.

what do you see?

Hannah loved looking out the window at the hotel. What do you think she saw? The pool!!! I did pack her bathing suit but it was too cool to swim. I did not want to right her getting sick. Maybe next time we stay in a hotel she will be able to swim.

Candler Park

After a nap, which meant we all had to lay down with her, we went to Candler Park. We had tried to go to Olympic Park when we left the Aquarium but it was closed for a private event. We looked at all of the "arts and crafts" then found the playground. I think she would play on a playground all day and never get tired. She is scared of nothing and will try anything. I am glad she likes to try new things, but wish she had a little fear. It was fun to watch her play.
