all boy

Uncle Kyle helped him dig up this worm. He brought it in and told me he needed his picture made with it then he could let it go.
His head looks much better today. He says it does not hurt unless you push on it.

our little reader

Hannah loves to get in her bed and read at night. Some nights she wants Dad to read to her, other nights she wants to read to him, and when he is not here she jut reads to herself. At times she will ask me to read to her. I am glad that she enjoys reading so much.

getting better

This is how his head looked this morning. It looks  A LOT better just 12 hours later. He slept until almost 9am which is not common for him. I would have been concerned, but since he was in the bed with me I could check to make sure he was still breathing. He sure is tough.

Hunter's head

Hunter was running down the sidewalk from Menchie's to Blue Coast and missed a step. I saw the step and was in the process of saying, "Hunter there is a step." But before I could get the words out he missed the step and landed on his head. He also has a skint knee and elbow from the fall. A nice worker from Blue Coast was outside and I asked him for some ice. He quickly went and got me some. Hunter only cried for a few minutes. He did hold the ice on his head the whole way home. He only complained again when I had the change his shirt to get him ready for bed. I kept him up until 11pm. He was talking, told Dad the whole story, laughing and could answer questions so we decided he must be ok. Hi poor head made me hurt.

Hannah's Kid's Rock Marathon

Hannah has been running for a few months now. She will run the last half mile of her 26.2 miles tonight. She has loved it and is so excited to run a race downtown. This is a banner that was made by students and hung up in the hallway at school.
Hanging out at the A.Z. Kelley tent waiting on her race time.
A few of the students who are part of the marathon team.
The finish line.
Our beautiful marathon runner. She was so proud and so were we!
I thought there medals were really cute. She was kind and let Buddy wear it before we even left the parking lot.

Hunter's Spring Program

Hunter dressed and ready to perform. He was so excited to go to school and night and get to go in the big church.
Hunter with Ms. Marie. She has been a great teacher for him and really loves him. We are going to be sad when he moves out of her class in a few weeks.

I did not get any pictures during the program because the microphone was right in front of him. Derrick did video it. I will try to get it on the blog.
Since Hunter and Carson did so well at their program we decided to go and get ice cream to celebrate. They are all so cute!!!

what am I going to do with him?

Hunter is not a big fan of sleeping in his own bed all night. He wakes up and come to our bed at least three times a week, if not more. Most nights I do not even know that he comes until I roll over and he is beside me. Hannah went through a few weeks of doing this when she was his age. He has been doing this for months now. We really do not know what to do about it other than just take him and put him back in his bed. Maybe it will pass soon. He sure he a cute little Buddy to wake up to.

Easter with famliy

They got into their Easter baskets before I could get a picture, so this is the best I could do.
Jacqulin was so kind to dress up for me this morning and help me during Preschool worship time. She is a beautiful Mary.
Our attempt at a family picture.
Papa and Nana with the kids.
Mike and Nene with the kids.
Pop Pop and MeMe with the kids.

I did not get a picture of the kids with Aunt Kim or Uncle Bert and Aunt Debbie.
I just love that Hunter is rolling his eyes in two of the pictures. He is such a mess.
The last time we ate Easter lunch with the Sumner's was Hannah's first Easter. How has it been that long and who let our kids grow up so much?

We are glad that all of our family and friends were able to spend the weekend with us. We have pictures of the kids dying eggs and hiding them. I will have to get them off of Derrick's camera.

Happy Easter

These are a few of my favorite pictures from the other week when we took them to have their pictures made. They are getting so big.

Easter Egg Hunt

Mrs. Sharon had fun games for the kids to play tonight. They had to roll the egg with a spoon.
They like to tell everyone they are sisters.
This game required a little more concentration. Carrying the egg on the spoon.
The bunny hop game. A few of the kids were determined to get their bunny across the line.
Hunter and Ian taking a break from the games for a quick picture.
Hunter was very into hunting eggs.
Hannah quickly filled her bucket.
So proud and cute!
Our precious children!!!!!
The empty tomb. The kids really liked making these. Mrs.Sharon told the Easter story as they made their tombs and the kids all loved that it was empty after they came out of the over.
Hunter enjoying his cookie.

Hunter's Birthday Party

Mater is Hunter's favorite character right now. I love to hear him say Mater. Thanks Nana for making his cute cake.
Ready for the party.
Hunter did not want to leave Clifford out.
We decided to get a bounce house. Since we waited until the last minute we could not get a Cars one to match the party theme. The kids did not care.
I love how excited Hunter and Blake get when they see each other. I think they really miss not getting to see each other daily.
Bouncing their little hearts out.

Ready to sing to our birthday boy!

Happy Birthday sweet boy! We love you! Thanks to everyone for coming to the party and helping us celebrate Hunter.
