ING Kids Rock Marathon

Ready to run, and hopefully beat the rain!
Ava and Hannah did a great job.
So proud! She gets faster every year. I am not sure if I will be able to keep up with her next year.

Easter

 Such love!

They really can be sweet to each other!

I love watching them dye eggs and then take turns hiding and hunting them.

They painted their birdhouses the Easter Bunny brought them.
Thanks Mike and Nene for coming to spend Easter with us and for keeping the kids while we went to Secret Church.

Easter Eve

Nene helped Hannah and Hunter make bird nest for us to have for dessert tomorrow.

They were so proud! I am sure they will taste yummy!
Hunter went straight to the yard to help when he finished making his bird nest.
I love that Hunter wants to be just like Derrick.
We had a great time at the Egg Hunt at the Glenn's.
I thought it was funny seeing all the parents try to get the kids to look.
And all the kids, who will never all look at once.

Swim Meet

Waiting is way more fun when you have friends to play Monster High with you!
 Swimmers, take your mark
Beautiful dive! She has improved so much!
 Freestyle

Hannah did great in all four events today. She has learned a lot about swimming and greatly improved during this last year of swim team.

Chuck E Cheese Night

Our school has CEC night once a nine weeks. I am not a fun of CEC but I caved to peer pressure and went. The kids loved it. I did get a free personal pan pizza and drink for being a teacher. I guess we will go more often next year since both kids will be at school with me.

making a city

Hunter wanted his train table turned over to the white side. He said he needed to make a Lego city and wanted to draw it himself. The road is looking good.

5 year old check up, movies and kindergarten registration

He is growing! He is now in the 25th percentile for height and 10th for weight. This is growth so we will take it. He was thrilled to have his picture made. He only had to have 2 shots and he did great. He watched the nurse give them both to him. I am amazed that both kids watch shots. I turn always turn my head, I can't watch anyone get a shot. I don't really do needles. The only news Hunter did not like from the doctor today was that he can't ride in a booster yet. She told him to gain 6 more pounds and he can get a booster seat. At the rate he is gaining weight he should be in a booster by 3rd grade.
Popsicle, prize from the treasure box and a stick made it all worth the pain.
Since I had taken the whole day off we ran a few errands after the doctor and then went to the movies. He wanted me to see the Lego movie, since I am the only one who has not, so that is what we did. He was really excited that we had popcorn for lunch and got to sit on the very top row (we were the only people in the theater). I really liked the movie. After the movie we went to order his cake for his friend party on Saturday. I also finished all his paperwork to register him for kindergarten. I really can't believe that he is 5 and going to school with Hannah and I in August. Time is flying!!!

Happy Birthday Hunter!

Thanks for the cool birthday shirt, Nene!
Here is the run down of his great day!
He requested a sausage biscuit from McDonald's for breakfast.
 Opened his gifts from us.
He took cookies and juice to school to celebrate with his friends.
He wanted to have dinner at Sonic.
He found a dime leaving Sonic and thought it was the best thing ever.
He got to go on the stage at church and tell how old he was before everyone sang to him and Matt.
He even got a present at church from one of his sweet teachers, who he loves so much. She did not need to do that, she is too sweet. I think he was rather wound up for his teachers tonight. When we got home he ate cake, because it is his REAL birthday! Thanks for all the calls, text and messages. He loved them all. Happy 5th Birthday, Buddy! We love you!

Hunter is having a great birthday week. Tomorrow is his big day. He brought his graduation proofs home today. I can't believe it is time for him to go to kindergarten! He opened cards and a package from grandparents! He us one loved little boy. I had to get one last sweet picture of him before he turns 5 at 5:17am.
