2 month shots

Look at those boo-boos. It was very sad watching her get her shots today. I actually did not watch, I turned my head. 

2 month check up

Hannah had her two month check up today. She now weighs 8lbs. 7 oz. and is 21 inches long. She is still only in the 25 percentile, but is making gains. I am very sad that I only have this weekend before I go back to work.

first road trip

We decided to take a trip to SC before I had to go back to work. All the grandparents have been here to see Hannah but none of her great-granparents have seen her in person. We were a little nervous about making the trip, but she did great. It was nice to see everyone. We were glad to come home and relax a little before I went back to work. (We were stopped at a McDonald's in the picture of me feeding her. We always leave her in her seat. Safety first.)

Hannah like to be swaddled, but she is good at getting out of it.

Easter Lunch

Aunt Deborah asked us to come and eat lunch with her for Easter. The food was really good and it was nice to spend Easter with our Nashville family. Thanks aunt Deborah.

Easter or Christmas

The Easter Bunny was really good to Hannah. I think it looks more like Christmas.

Happy Easter

We wanted a cute Easter picture to send to all the grandparents. Derrick being the creative one decided to put Hannah in a basket. I did not think she would fit in the basket, but she is still pretty small. I wanted a picture of her in her Easter dress also. She must have been having a good dream in this picture.

First cold

Hannah had her first cold this week. When I took her to the doctor she told me, "that's what happens when they go to daycare." That made me feel very guilty about taking her to daycare, but it is what we have to do. The doctor also said, "it is better to go ahead and build that immune system."

first bath in little tub

Hannah's cord finally fell off. She only had it for a month. She was not sure about being put in the water. I hope she will learn to like bath time.

First trip to church

I took Hannah to church for the first time today. Derrick is out of town, but we did not want to miss Sharon's shower. We just went to Sunday School. As soon as we got there she had a huge dirty diaper. I took her to the nursery to change her and it was all over her onesie. I had packed a change of clothes but not another onesie. She was good through class and at the shower. I am glad we were able to go. It looks like she is discovering her hands.

1 month old

It is hard to believe that Hannah is 1 month old today. She is growing, but most people say she still looks tiny. We are adjusting to less sleep. She is a good baby and seems very content unless she is hungry. This was my favorite 1 month picture. I am glad she has a dad who is a photographer.

Weight check

Hannah now weighs 6 lbs. 15 oz. She is gaining weight but still looks very small to me.
