Happy Halloween

 Iron man
Repunzel
Tonight Hannah and I went to church for choir and Dad and Hunter went to the Bussell's to trick or treat. They were still out when we left church so we stopped by to join in the fun. As soon as I got there Hunter told me we were going back to the Bussell's to eat all of his candy. Dad said that he had talked to every person who gave him candy. I told him maybe he will run for president one day. Thanks Bussell's for letting us come trick or treat with you all.

Dad took this picture of Hunter interviewing the nice lady. He likes to ask LOTS of questions and will talk to anyone.

what makes my heart happy

While getting ready for church today Hunter came in my room and said, "Hey Mom, you got any cash?" I told him no I did not. He quickly found Nene and asked her the same thing. Thank goodness Nene had some cash. He wanted it for his offering. He told me Papa always has cash. He does not miss anything. He melts my heart daily!

We went to school to take the tables back and the kids enjoyed riding on the dolly. They have very little fear. It make me really happy when they have a whole day of being sweet to each other and not fighting.

One the way home Hunter was asking who goes to A.Z. Kelley. We told him Patrick did. Derrick asked him what he was dressed as last night. Hunter quickly responded, "Batman!" Derrick then asked him what Ty was dressed as and he said, just as quickly, "An Eggo." He makes us laugh all the time.

Hannah is growing up so fast, right before our eyes. Our conversation with her was about what songs we sang at church today. She asked if we sang Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) or How Great Is Our God. I told her not today. She said they sang Amazing Grace and she loves that song. I found How Great Is Our God on iHeart radio for her. It is wonderful to hear her signing such great songs. She took my phone and went to her room to sing and play. I am every thankful to be a part of a church that has such wonderful people to teach our children. They both love their teachers at church.

I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday. We had a great time at church and have enjoyed spending the rest of the day together. My heart is so full that I can't stop smiling today.

Halloween Party

Derrick painted these chairs that Jon got for us. They are so cute.
Hunter for trying out the corn table to make sure if was ready for all his friends. How cute is he in his bear hat. It was cold so we wore the hat most of the day.
Look at these sweet babies. How did they get so big?
Woody is ready for the party to began.
Ariel was ready for the party to began. I am so glad she still loves princesses.
Thanks MeMe for this fun bowl. It was perfect for the popcorn.
 Buddies!
This is the best I could do and we were still missing a couple of kids.
I think this is the only picture I got of Hannah and Kylie all night and it is not great. They were eating the cookies they had just decorated.
Since it was so cold we decided to move the pumpkin decorating and movie inside. The kids were fine with it. I should have taken a picture of all the finished pumpkins. They were really cute.

We had a great time spending time with all of our friends. Thanks everyone for coming and we look forward to having you all pack next year.

Run for the Cure

Hannah was so excited to get up and go to the race this morning. She got up with no trouble.
She loves getting to spend time with her "sister."
They were so happy to get their faces painted.

Thanks Sarah for asking us to do the walk with you and Kylie. We had a good time and will have to do it again.

party time at school

Hannah requested that I make candy corn and ghost cookies for her Fall Party at school. Hunter just wanted to taste the cookies. He said, "Mama these cookies are so yummy!" I am so glad that they met his approval. Derrick signed Hunter up for cheese cubes, so I did not take a picture of them.

Women's Dinner

I am glad I was able to go to the Women's dinner at church tonight. Kelly Minter was the speaker and she was wonderful. The main thing she said that stuck with me was, "The depth of your compassion will always be measured by your action." Wow that is something to think about. Sharon did a great job decorating the table and Mary Clark made yummy pumpkin cupcakes. I am thankful to be a part of a church has such wonderful things for women.

such a sweet helper and a great friend

Hunter wanted to help me unload the dishwasher. He does a great job. He gets his stool and then washes his hands. He does a great job getting the all the silverware in the correct place.
He said "Mama I can touch the honey knife. You let me use the honey knife, right?" He is so funny.
I was working on some school work and he decided that he wanted to do his work as well. He loves to color!!!

Mrs. Julia offered to take Hannah to Chuck E. Cheese tonight. Our school has a fundraiser night the day we get report cards. She had a great report card. We are so proud of her. Thanks again Mrs. Julia for taking her. She had a great time.

a new tradition

I have been trying to think of new traditions that we can do that are fun and can be done throughout the year. I think it was Kristin who told me that she use to get to eat ice cream for dinner sometimes. I thought it would be fun to have snacks for dinner one Sunday night a month. The kids thought it was a great ideas. We enjoyed our snacks and a movie. It was a great way to end the weekend.

Halloween 5k

I love these girls. I am proud that Julia was up for dressing up. We had a great time, but learned that we will not be doing any more races in cowboy boots. We thought we looked like cowgirls but people along the course were a little confused about what we were dressed as. We were called: Indians, brownies, sheriffs, Pocahontas, Girl Scouts, and park rangers. Next time we will have to be sure to wear our hats.

Walden Farms

The corn table is always a hit.
They quickly found their way through the hay maze.
 Two sweet baby calves.
She was so happy to see how tall she was this year.
Hunter was not sure about the lamb licking his hand.
Hannah was much more brave this year when it came to feeding the animals.
Hunter is a little over three feet.
We were sad that Cooper did not get to go with us today. We needed our "third child" with us to complete the picture.

I think he would have petted the goats all day.
Hannah just wanted to feed them.
Enjoying a little train ride.

Hunter was brave enough to go down the slide this year.

Hannah thought is was just as much fun this year.
New this year was the lasso station. Hannah and Hunter thought it was fun to try, but did not have good luck.

Of course all Hunter wanted to do was jump off the hay.
Hannah climbed up a couple of times but I never got her standing.
 More corn.
They lead us in circles before leading us out of the corn maze.
Hunter liked milking the cow until he flipped off the stool. He is so cute!!!
Hannah got a cat painted on her face.
 Hunter got a witch.
They wanted to go through the hay maze one more time.
We also did a hayride but I did not take any pictures. Hannah enjoyed playing I Spy and Hunter just enjoyed the ride.
They enjoyed picking out their pumpkins so they will be ready to decorate them next Saturday night at the Halloween party. Thanks Papa and Nana for going to the pumpkin patch with us. We had a great time.
