Baby Peyton

We also got to meet baby Peyton while in SC. Hannah was sleep the first time we went to see him. So was Peyton and his mommy so we did not stay long. The next day I went to see Peyton again, so I could hold him. Hannah was havnig too much fun with Papa to go with Aunt Jan and I to visit. I sure she will be glad to meet him when we go back to SC for Thanksgivng.

Baby Marla

While we were in SC for Labor Day we got to meet baby Marla. I think Aunt Robin got I good picture of them. I was holding Marla and Hannah climbed up in the chair with me. She just patted her back and said, "Shhh, baby." She did sneak up on me one time and pat her a little hard. The second time she climbed up in the chair she looked at her and saw she was asleep. Then in her loud voice said, "Boo!" When Marla did not wake up she laughed a little and got down. I got one picture of her telling Marla bye.

no biting

Monday night when Derrick was getting Hannah ready for bed I heard him yell. She had bitten him on the collarbone. Which brought blood and as of this morning you could still tell where she had biten him. I told him it would probably not be long before Nana would be telling us she bit someone at daycare. Well, today was the day. When I got to Nana's she told me that Hannah had biten Ty. I felt terrible. Ty is her best friend. Nana had told her no bite and put her in time out. I called Ty's mom to apologize and check on him. She told me that she had biten him twice. She was not mad and said Ty was fine. Both of which made me feel no better. I guess this is just part of growning up. Check Ty's blog for a picture of the damage she did.

Family Portrait

It has only taken us almost 18 months to take a family portrait. Hannah is very busy now, so getting a good picture is not an easy task. She loves to be outside, which is where most pictures of her are taken. Thanks Meme for taking this wonderful picture.

Reading with Papa

Hannah loves to read and loves her papa. She enjoyed nana and papa coming to keep her while mama worked in her classroom and daddy worked. Thanks nana and papa for coming to keep her. I know she had a great time.

watering flowers

Hannah likes to help water the flowers. She would play in the pool and then use her cup to water the flowers. She is a good helper.

Future teacher?

Hannah went to school with me a few times this summer to work in my classroom. She likes the boarder. She can name the cat and apple. She will point to the bee and the water. She also liked reading the books.

watermelon

I am glad that Hannah likes watermelon. It is a good summer fruit.
