Hannah and Ty

I think Hannah talked Ty into playing school. Of course she had to be the teacher.

Ty seems very into the book. Such a good student.

We are glad Ty came to spend the day with us. They played so well together all day.

3 year check up

Hunter loves going to the doctor. Good thing since today was the third time he has been in a week and a half. Good news is that he is healthy and not wheezing. Not so good news is that he is little. He is only in the 10th percentile. The doctor said that he is proportional in his height and weight, just small. He weighs 27.8 pounds and is 35.5 inches tall. His blood pressure was good, he passed his hearing and vision screening and his favorite part of the whole visit was getting to pee-pee in a cup. The doctor wants us to try a new preventive medicine for his wheezing. We will start it tomorrow. I am happy that he had a great check up.

Happy 3rd Birthday

 We started the day by singing Happy Birthday and having cinnamon rolls for breakfast. As soon as he woke up he told me he had to give his pacies to Trey. I asked him if he wanted me to get them and he said no that he needed a bog to put them in. He put them in the bag and gave them to me. Such a big boy.

 He was so proud to be wearing his big 3 shirt. Monkey George was his animal of choice for school today.

 He wanted Sissy to sit by him. His little class is so sweet and so is his teacher. When we left school we went by to see Nana and Papa. Papa was not there but we stayed and visited the Nana, Sheri and Natalie until Papa and Jackson came home. Hannah and Hunter had fun playing with Haley. It was nice to just sit and visit.

 He wanted Chick-Fil-A for dinner. He said he wanted to eat, play and then have ice cream. So that is exactly what we did.

 Our last stop was at the Glenn's to give baby Trey his pacies. Hunter was very excited to give them away. Mrs. Sharon was sweet to give Hunter a prize for being so big. He was ready to play with his Lightening McQueen ball. Thanks for helping us get rid of the pacies.

As we were putting Hunter to bed he asked if when he woke up in the morning if his birthday would be gone. I told him no that he was going to have a birthday week. I love that he is so excited about his birthday this year.

Thanks for all the calls, text and FB messages. He is one loved little boy. I am can't believe that he is already three. It is hard to believe that Hannah was his age when he was born. He makes our family complete. Happy Birthday Buddy, we love you!

I love Saturday

I started the day by running a 10k with great friends. I cleaned out the pantry after lunch. Hannah and  I decorated bags for Easter for the Ronald McDonald House. Dad worked in the yard with lots of help from Hannah and Hunter. I think we had a great start to our spring break week.

paci

I am so, so, so sad that Hunter is no longer going to have a paci. We told him when he turns 3 that he has to give them away because he will be a big boy. I need him to have a paci more than he needs/wants it. I love to see him sleeping with it or just want it when he is tired/hurt/sad. It is the last thing that makes him a baby. I just want him to stay little as long as possible. When we were putting him to bed he reminded us that when he is 3 on his birthday that he was going to give his pacies to Baby Trey. I asked him if I could take some pictures of him with them and he was happy to let me. I am sad my baby boy is growing up so quickly.

Hunter's afternoon teacher made all the kids one of these. It is a chick that covers an egg. I thought it was too cute and was impressed that she made one for all the kids. That took a lot of time.
