Happy Halloween

I just wanted to take a minute to post these pictures of my beautiful Tinker Bell and sweet little giraffe. I will update about the party and the rest of October soon.

more Halloween Party

We decorated pumpkins again. We did not get to this before Kylie and Ian had to leave. Next year we will try to do this first. They did a good job and are very proud of their creations.
Mrs. Allison brought a pinata. The kids loved it. It was very funny watching them try to hit it. Ty was the one who broke if for them. They all did a great jog waiting their turn and then picking up the candy. Good job Ty!!!
This was the set up Derrick did this year. I do not think I got a picture of it in the daylight. Hopefully Nana did. Thanks Derrick for making it all look good.

I did not get any pictures of the adults around the fire making s'mores. I was nice to sit by the fire and fellowship.

Thanks to everyone for coming to the party. We had a great time! Thanks Cody, Tara and Brandon for coming to help get ready and to Cody for helping take the tables back.

Halloween Party

We went to trick or treat at Mr. and Mrs. Tuckers. Hannah said Ty was her prince and Cooper was Kylie's prince. She is very into the princess thing.
Watching a movie outside. Hannah thought that was the neatest thing. Thanks Mrs. Sharon for bringing the projector.
The Miller's having fun in the corn. We were so happy they were able to come. Ian looks great. Please keep them in your prayers they are headed to Jacksonville soon for more treatment.
They all stopped long enough to eat, at least a little.
Fun in the corn. The turkey's will thank us in the morning.

dishwater punch

While we were at the beach we were talking about the Halloween party. Nene said she had done a party and told us about some of the Halloween things she made. I thought the punch would be fun and easy enough for me to make. Nene made the eyes and hands and sent them with my parents. I thought it was too cute and everyone seemed to like the punch. Thanks Nene for doing the hard part.

Happy Halloween

Hunter's first Halloween. He loves some pumpkins.
Look at these beautiful children. They make my heart so happy!!!

Halloween treats

This was my favorite thing that Hannah brought home from school. I love the class picture and of course she had her picture made with Ty. I am not sure what we are going to do when they have to go to different kindergartens?!?!
I love things the kids make that are with their hands and/or feet prints. Look at my buddies sweet little ghost foot. Thanks Sheri and Nana!
One of my students made this for me. It is so cute. I may have to make some of these for Hannah and Hunter's teachers next year.

pmpkin carving

I was so excited that we were going to carve pumpkins as a family. Hunter fell asleep, Hannah hated it, but Derrick did great work and I enjoyed watching. I did clean out a pumpkin so he could just carve it. Maybe next year Hannah will like it a little better and I am sure Hunter will be more into it then. I bought home some pumpkins from school that the other kindergarten teachers had carved. Derrick decided that he needed to do a little work on them. He is so creative. Thanks Derrick for carving more pumpkins. I know they will look great for the party tomorrow night.

Uncle Kyle is back

Uncle Kyle, Nana and Papa came back to TN today. Hannah was so excited. Every night since Uncle Kyle and Nana left to go to SC she has prayed, "Dear Jesus, please let Nana and Uncle Kyle come back tomorrow." I am glad it was finally tomorrow. Uncle Kyle is doing well. He is working on balancing and Hannah was helping him by throwing and catching the ball. He goes back to the doctor tomorrow. Keep up the good work Uncle Kyle!!

pumpkin carving at school

Today I went to the pumpkin patch with my class. It was raining and yucky but we still had a good time. When we returned Derrick came to school to carve our pumpkin. We graphed what kind of face we wanted it to have yesterday. Happy and scary tied. I had a little girl who guessed there were 500 seeds in the pumpkin. Since she was the closest she go to choose what type of face we should carve. Happy won. There were 522 seeds in the pumpkin, yes we counted them all. Thanks Derrick for coming to carve our pumpkin.

sweet girls

They played so well together. I wished we lived closer so they could play more.
