more Hollywood Studios pics

Hannah thought it was fun to drive us. Too much of her driving on this trip for me.

Hollywood Studios

We started the day early at Hollywood Studios. There was more to do here than we thought. We went to Fast Pass the new Toy Story ride. It was really neat and had the longest line all day. Hannah rode Tower of Terror and loved it. She shows no emotion while riding it. She finally learned to scream on the Thunder Mountain roller coaster. I was not sure if she was going to like it. When we got off she said, "That was fun, can I ride it with Mrs. Allison next time?" Amazing!!! We saw the Muppet's 3D show and were able to see a few more characters before our time to ride Toy Story. We ate lunch and then went to see Beauty and the Beast. While we were in the show it started raining. Good thing we packed the raincoats today. The show was really good. We went to see the Playhouse Disney show next since it was still a little rainy. After the show we were able to get fast passes for Tower of Terror. Derrick, Hannah, Allison and I rode first, then Derrick, Hannah, and Jeremy rode. She still loved it!!! Allison and I rode Rockin roller coaster first and then I waited with Hannah while Derrick and Jeremy rode. Allison and Cooper went to ride Toy Story one more time. We all met back at the "big hat" and then headed to Magic Kingdom.

Epcot and Hollywood Studios

This morning we went to Epcot to the Character Spot. Hannah was not a fan of getting her picture made with them at all. She only did good with Minnie and Pluto. We did the Nemo ride again and Turtle talk with Crush. Hannah's favorite ride of the day was Soarin'. We had planned on going back to take a nap so we could go to Hollywood Studios for the Fantasmic show. The Bussell's went back, but we stayed. Derrick wanted to walk through all of the countries. It was neat, but most of it was a little too old for Hannah. She really just wanted to go in the big baseball. We were almost out of the country loop when the bottom fell out. All week we had carried our raincoats in the backpack. Last night we road Splash Mountain and had put our jackets on, which did not help Derrick or I at all. The jackets did not get back in the backpack so we got wet yet again! Derrick did not seem to get that wet, Hannah thought it was tons of fun, and I was not really that happy about it. We had planned to leave for Hollywood Studios at 5, but we did not get back to the hotel until 4:45 and I had to take a shower. I felt much better after my shower. We headed on even though it was raining a little, this time with our raincoats. We were able to see The Little Mermaid, eat dinner at Pizza Planet and then see Fantasmic, with standing room only. Good thing the Dad's like having kids on their shoulders. We are going back to Hollywood Studios in the morning to finish all the rides/shows we want to do there.

The pictures from the Character Spot are on Derrick's camera. I will download them later.

Character Spot at Epcot

I am not sure why we did not get a picture of her with Mickey, but she did good with him, Minnie, and Pluto. She was not a fan of Donald and Goofy. The picture of her and Pluto is my favorite.

Animal & Magic Kingdom

We went to Animal Kingdom first thing this morning to finish all of the things we were going to do there. We spent a little time in Dino Land, watched the Nemo show, the adults rode Everest one more time and then had some lunch before going back to take a nap. (I did not get any pictures of Hannah that turned out good this morning.)

We had reservation at Tony's in Magic Kingdom and we were early tonight. It was really good food. I was very pleased with both of the places we scheduled reservations. After eating we went to ride more rides in the park. I think Magic Kingdom is Hannah's favorite and there are tons of things she can ride there. The Barn Stormer was broke down so we checked to see how long the line to see Mickey was. It was only 10 minutes. We were the last group of people they let in. We went to see Tinker Bell next. We were the next the last group to get in. Good timing for us!! The roller coaster was fixed when we got finished with autographs. We had a great time, but are tired now and going to bed. We are headed back to Epcot in the morning.

rest day

We needed to rest today. We slept in until almost 9, which is late for us. We ate breakfast in the food court area and then went to the pool. Hannah liked the pirate pool, but loved the big pool. She liked the slides in the big pool and being able to swim like a mermaid in it. The Pirate pool was too shallow for her to "swim" in. The slides were fun in the big pool. It was really hot so we only stayed out for a couple of hours. After lunch and a nap we headed back to Downtown Disney. We had a good dinner and then did a little shopping. Of course we had some ice cream again. We have another busy day planned tomorrow, so we are going to bed a little earlier tonight.

Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Dinner & Magic Kingdom

We headed to Animal Kingdom this morning. We went straight to the Safari and only had to wait a few minutes. Lots of animals were out and we all enjoyed the ride. We also went to see The Lion King and It's Touch to be a Bug. There are not many rides for the kids, but Derrick and Jeremy road Everest. After eating lunch Derrick, Jeremy, Hannah and I stayed to ride Dinosaur. Allison and Cooper went to take a nap. When we got back to the hotel Allison and I went back so we could ride Everest. We were afraid we were going to miss our Fast Pass time. We made it with 3 minutes to spare. It was really fun. We then rushed back to get ready for dinner. We had reservation at Ohana at 5:25. We were late leaving the hotel then had to wait on a busy to take us to Magic Kingdom to then get on the monorail to take us to the Polynesian Hotel for dinner. We were about 45 minutes late, but the man was really nice and we only had to wait about 10 minutes. I am so glad we did not just skip it. The food was wonderful and it was a really fun place to eat. I would eat there again for sure. They did fun things for the kids while we ate, even though Hannah and Cooper were not thrilled about them. Hannah was not a fan of the food but when the ice cream came out she decided she would eat so she could have the "zert." After dinner we went to Epcot. There were only a few things we wanted to do there. We were able to do the Nemo ride, but everything else was closed or had a really long line. Since the kids had napped we were going to sleep in and rest tomorrow we went to Magic Kingdom when Epcot closed. We were able to ride all we wanted without hardly any waiting. Hannah was most excited to ride Thunder Mountain Railroad. This was her first "big" roller coaster and she loved it. I think we rode it three times. I am really glad we are going to rest tomorrow because we had a really busy, but fun day today.

Princess Lunch Picutres

Magic Kingdom and Princess lunch

This morning we took our time getting ready going to Magic Kingdom. Allison and I took the kids swimming and let them play on the playground on the beach, while Jeremy and Derrick when to the grocery store to get water and breakfast/snack food. After we ate a snack the kids rested and we all got ready for the princess lunch. Once we checked in at the castle I took Hannah to change into her Ariel wedding dress. She was so excited to get her picture made with Cinderella. She smiled good and loved getting to hug and talk to her. After pictures we went upstairs to eat lunch. We had a very good lunch and the princesses took their time when they came to our table. Hannah loved getting her picture made with each princess and having them sign her autograph book. After lunch and getting to see all of the princesses we changed clothes and went back in the park to ride rides. We stayed to see the Electric Light Parade and the Fireworks. Hannah liked both but covered her ears the whole time we watched the fireworks because they were too loud.

Derrick took his good camera to the princess lunch an I have not downloaded the pictures. I will do a separate post of just those pictures.
