That is what Hannah said when I told her there was someone who wanted to see her when she got home from church. I meet her outside so I could talk to her before she saw Uncle Kyle. I had talked to her doctor earlier in the day to get some advice about telling her that Uncle Kyle only has one leg. She suggested that we draw a picture of someone with one leg and show it to her and just answer any questions she has. I had Derrick draw a picture and showed it to her before she came in the house. She seemed okay with the fact that he only has one leg. She was so excited that he was home and came running in to see him. She stopped in her tracks when she saw him. He told her that he was okay. She had to take a few minutes to check him out. We explained to her that he would get a pretend foot and leg. She said, "What will it be made of?" We told her it would be made of plastic. She then said, "You can't make a foot out of plastic." We told her that the doctors can make a new foot and leg for people who need one. She then asked what the toes would look like. We told her that there would not be toes on the foot. She said, "You can't have a foot without toes on it." I told her we would just have to wait and see when it was time for Uncle Kyle to get his new leg and foot. She said, "I will just go to the doctor with him and watch him make the new leg and foot." She gave him a good night hug before she went to bed. Thank you to everyone for the prayers. She handled the news well, much better than I had played it out in my head. Hunter was happy to see Uncle Kyle and gave him a HUGE smile when we came in the door.

Hannah is a very sweet and compassionate little girl (like her Mom is) and she can handle a lot more than we think something. She is very smart and I just felt she would be OK as long as Kyle and you were OK with things. You and Derrick are such caring parents that have always set a good example for her.
Glad it all when easy for everyone.
Hugs and kisses,
Mike and nene
