Chess Club

The art teacher at our school does Chess Club once a week. She asked me if I wanted Hannah to come. I told her sure. I also let her know that I do not know how to play chess. She assured me that was fine and she could/would teach Hannah. I will let Hannah teach me. She sent her home with this chess set. I asked Hannah if everyone got one and she said, "No Mama, just the people who do not have one at home." Chess is one of the few games we do not have. Hannah paid attention well. She remembered the names of most of the pieces and where to put them. I am sure she will be able to teach me to play chess before long.
