Tinsel responded to Hannah's note. She really likes hanging out in Hannah's room!
Hannah wanted to make a Christmas napkin holder, since we had one for Thanksgiving. She told me she could not make one out of wood, but she knew how to make it. She did a great job. This is how we left Hannah and Hunter tonight. I am sure this was great entertainment for Nana and Papa. We are enjoying having them here this weekend. Thanks for keeping the kids tonight so we could go make sushi and watch a movie with the Bussell's and the Bryant's.
The sunset was so pretty as we were leaving. I think God makes them so pretty so I have to stop and think about how great He is.
We made sushi and it was fun. I actually did not make any, I just watched and took pictures. Tara and Allison did a great job making most of it. Derrick and Jeremy did a good job making a few rolls. It was all really yummy. First you have to toast the seaweed paper so it will not be chewy. They did a good job of toasting and not burning it.
First roll of the night, success!!!
Allison's roll with rice on the outside, success again!!!
Derrick making his first roll of the night, yet another success!!!
We watched a little of the movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation then ate some yummy cake before finishing the movie. Thanks Bryant's for having us over. We had a great time. I hope you all had a good day as well.
