2nd hair cut

Hannah's hair has grown like crazy. We took her to get it cut after lunch today. She was not as corporative this time. First we had to wait almost 30 minutes and second it was past her nap time. She did fine once we gave her a sucker. She is too cute even with short hair.

chocolate milkshake

We went to eat lunch with Papa and Uncle Kyle before we left to come home. Hannah ate enough french fries to make someone sick. She then decided that she needed to try Uncle Kyle's milkshake. He gladly shared it with her and she enjoyed it. I am sure that is the first of many. Thanks for sharing Uncle Kyle.

taking a break

Hannah enjoys "driving" and pushing all the buttons when we let her out of her seat while we get gas. Derrick says in 15 more years he is going to let her drive us to SC. I am not sure how I feel about that.

all the things Hannah loves

After Hannah took her nap and we all took a stretch break she settled in to watch a little Elmo. She had her paci and blanket and was set to ride for a while. Derrick and I are thankful for paci, blanket, and Elmo.

fun with Mattison and Sophia

Hannah loves to play with other children. We had gone to Mattison's house on Wednesday night to play for a little while. They had so much fun. Donna called on Thursday to tell me that Mattison was sad because she wanted Hannah to come play with her. We went back to play and have dinner tonight. Hannah enjoyed the pizza and Mattison enjoyed fruit loops. They both enjoyed looking for the fish while they were eating. Matt had jumped over Hannah on Wednesday night while they were playing. When she saw him tonight she jumped up so he would jump over her again. The girls played so hard they need some gummies for a snack. It was fun to visit with Matt and Donna and watch the girls play. Thanks for having us over, we had a great time.

rock, rock

Hannah loves to rock and be outside. When she discovered there was a rocking chair outside she was very excited. She would go to the front door and say, "Rock, rock." Until you took her outside. She can climb in the chair all by herself. What a big girl!

Thanksgiving at MiMi's

We went to MiMi's for Thanksgivng dinner. Hannah enjoyed eating with Marla. Hannah has learned to love animals. When you say MiMi she says, "See Boots." Boots in one of the cats at MiMi's house. I am glad that she is learning to like animails. The cat in the picture is Tigger, Hannah's second favorite cat. The food at MiMi's was great too. We should not be hungry for days.

Thanksgiving at Great Papa's

We had Thanksgiving lunch at Great Papa's today. Hannah let Uncle Wendell read her a story. She sat with Great Papa for a few minutes. Everytime someone came in the house she wanted to go out. Aunt Katie and Uncle Kyle took her outside. Uncle Kyle was throwing the ball in the tree and Hannah thought that was the funnest thing. She enjoyed sitting in the swing with Aunt Katie. This was the best picture I could get of her with Great Papa and Grandma Edna. It was nice to spend some time with some of the family. The food was great too.

best way to start the day

Hannah loves to "read" books. She starts most morings "reading" while she waits on us to give her a treatment and breakfast. I am very glad she likes books so much. Derrick says we have way to many books, and I say we can never have enough.

sweetest words ever

When you tell Hannah you love her she will say, "love you." It makes me melt. Those two words make any kind of day I am having great. I love her more everyday!!!

Hannah loves pizza. Derrick says she gets it from me. We went to Snappy Tomato to eat dinner tonight. We have been cutting her pizza into little bites and giving it to her. Tonight she kept saying, or should I say yelling, "bite!" We decided to give her the whole piece of pizza. She held it up and bit it like an adult. She ate one piece and said, "more please." She ate two whole pieces of pizza. I am glad Derrick had his camera with him so we can capture the moment.

growing up too fast

I took Hannah's bumper pads off to wash when I changed her bed this morning. I decided to see how she would do without them. She still likes to sleep with her head in the corner, so I had left them in her bed. I guess it is time to take them out. When I put her down for a nap she asked for the sheep pillow. She looks so big sleeping on a pillow and with no bumper pads. I think she would like being able to climb in her bed all by herself, but I am not sure she would stay there. We are going to leave her in her crib as long as we can. I am sure before we know it we will have to put up the little rail and start the transition to a big girl bed.I can't believe she will be 2 years old in 4 months. Time really does fly!

catch Uncle Kyle

Not only does dad let her jump off things, but so does Uncle Kyle. Hannah had big fun playing with Uncle Kyle. Hannah also walked him all around the yard. She did not let him or Papa far out of her site. Thanks for coming to visit.

Hannah was helping Papa cool his coffee off. She would say, "hot!" Then she would blow it. She loved spending time with her Papa. Thanks for coming Papa.

Hannah likes to help now. She gets the clothes out of the basket and hands them to you to fold. Today she decided to hand me the groceries to put in the pantry. I hope she keeps wanting to be a helper.

Saturday, November 3, 2007

Hannah took a good nap this afternoon. When she woke up she wanted to find dad. He was outside working. I asked her if she wanted to take her snack outside. She said, "yes, please." Derrick took a break from working to sit with her while she ate some snack.

1, 2, 3 Jump

Derrick has taught her to stand on the edge of things, chairs, tubs, couches, and jump. She gets so excited. Once she jumps she will laugh and laugh. Derrick is good at teaching her dangerous things.

reading with MiMi

Hannah really enjoyed reading books with MiMi while she was here to visit.

1, 2 peek-a-boo

Hannah watches Disney in the moring while she takes her treatment and Derrick and I get ready. There is going to be a new show coming on soon and they do a little ad for it. There is a hole that pops up on the screen and then it counts 1, 2 and a rabbit pops up and says, "Peek-a-boo." Hannah thinks that is the funniest thing. She likes to cover her eyes and play to. She sometimes counts, "1, 2 boo" and other times, "2, boo." She is so observant all the time.
