1st soccer practice and meals

Hunter is finally going to have his first soccer practice today. It keeps raining out practices so they are going to practice this afternoon. I am not going to practice so he let me take a few pictures of him practicing at home.

I made these 8 meals this afternoon and put them in the freezer. I have never made meals to freeze before, so we will see how it turns out. I like the idea of being able to take a meal out of the freeze, put it in the crock pot and have dinner ready when we get home from school/work/the Y.

Hannah's first swim meet and a beautiful day

She was so excited this morning. We quickly learned that there is a lot of waiting at a swim meet. Thankfully we have friends to wait with. Thanks Bussell's for coming.
Hannah with her coach and some of her team mates.
She looks so grown up to me.
It is almost time for her first event.

Swimming free style.
She did great!
This is one way the Wild Man entertained himself through all of the waiting.

Event #2 - backstroke her all time favorite.

After stopping for lunch we came home and spent the rest of the day outside. Hannah wanted to help wash the car. It only last for a few minutes, but at least she offered to help.

She decided to play dress up and blow bubbles with Buddy next. She blew the bubbles and he got to pop them.
We ended the day with dinner with the Bussell's and S'mores.

4 year old check up

I took Hunter for his 4 year old check up today. I took the afternoon off and picked him up for a lunch date. We had a nice lunch at Chick-fil-A, complete with ice cream and a little playing. He did great at the doctor. He is growing, but just not much or fast. He weighs 31.5  and is 38 inches tall. I am glad he made it to 30 pounds. He was glad he did not have to have any shots. We came home and played outside until it was time to go get Sissy from school.
I put up his new big boy swing. I have to say it made me a little sad to take the baby swing down. He is just growing up too fast.

I hid the eggs and he found them, then he hid them for me to find.

We played a little soccer.
I enjoyed spending  the afternoon with him.

Hunter was excited to eat at church and get to go on the stage for everyone to sing to him. Hannah took this picture for me.

Happy Birthday Hunter!!

Hunter did not want pancakes for his birthday breakfast, he wanted a chocolate bar (protein bar). He is not hard to please.
He is such a mess!
He decided that he did not want to go out for dinner. He wanted Dad to pick up Zaxby's and bring it home so we would have time to play his new game. He insisted that we all play. He was so excited because he won. Happy Birthday sweet boy!

sweet

Danielle and I were every happy to be eating ice cream after giving up sweets for lent. We did go to the gym before eating our ice cream.

Hunter's cupcakes are ready for school tomorrow. He is so excited to have "another" birthday.

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. It has been busy, which I will blog about later this week. I hope you all were able to celebrate with family today. I am tankful that Jesus is ALIVE!

a day full of great things

Easter morning! They were thrilled to have their picture made with their Easter baskets.
Our sweet toothless girl!

A family photo.
I love these two so much!

The dessert desk.
Our yummy Easter lunch!
I love that the whole family comes for Easter. (It might have something to do with the fact that Hunter's birthday is close to Easter.)

Luke and Jacqulin are always nice and help Hannah and Hunter dye eggs.
Super Hero eggs. We were keeping with Hunter's party theme.
All done, hopefully it will be warmer and sunny one day this week and we can hide them.
I love that God gives us such beautiful reminders of His greatness!
The kids wanted to decorate an egg cookie after dinner.

I think Gypsy was glad that it was a little calmer in the house so she could stay in and rest.

Easter Egg Hunt

We had a great time at the Easter Egg Hunt. The kids were really fast at finding the eggs or I was really slow at taking a picture. I am glad the ran held off. It was a little cool, but that did not stop the kids from having a great time. Thanks Glenn's for having us all over.

Hunter filled his bucket up really quick.
Hannah did not waste any time filling her bucket either.
Hunter said, "Look at this cute little egg!"
They stopped long enough for me to take one picture of them together.

Wow! That is a lot of kids!

I had to take a picture of Hannah with her sister.
