We all got out of the house today. After a little hot water, scraping, and patients Derrick got all of the ice off the car so we could open the back and load the things we needed to take toe consignment drop off.
He is such a great husband! I'm glad he is mine and like one of my friends pointed out he is really cute too!
Since we were out of the house we made the most of it. We dropped consignment off, went to the store, delivered some blueberries to some friends who can't get out of their driveway, went to picked up gear Derrick needs for work tomorrow, ate a late lunch at Chick-fil-A and went to another place to pick up a little more gear.
Hannah could not take the excitement of being out of the house. She almost never falls asleep in the car. Hunter was not a fan of her sleeping. He kept trying to wake her up.
He had fallen asleep on our why to drop consignment. Hannah did not try to wake him up while he was sleeping. Just look at that face, it has trouble written all over it.
We were excited to see one small spot had started to melt in the driveway. I think it is going to take a lot more sunshine to clear our driveway.
One icicle is continuing to grow. We are waiting for more snow/sleet/freezing rain tomorrow.
