we love a Saturday at home

Hannah was supposed to have a swim meet today, but she was the only one from her team who could make it, so we did not have to go. The coach felt bad, but we were good with a stay at home day. It was so nice that I made the kids go outside. Hannah wanted to take her Barbies and horses outside to play. I loved listening to her play. She drew a track for them to race on. We ate lunch and dinner on the porch and just enjoyed being home for most of the day. Derrick had to work for a little while, but was able to spend most of the day with us.

We took him to pick up the van for a photographer he is going to work with next week. When we got there the van had a flat tire. Hunter had to help him check it out.

Getting a better look and placing the jack in the right place.
Hannah decided that she did not want to miss out on the fun and Hunter could see better if he laid all the way down.
Hannah even got her hands dirty helping put the lugnuts back on.
I stared making homemade cinnamon rolls before we left. The dough had to sit for 2 hours to rise. They were able to rise while we were gone. I hope they will tastes as good as they smell in the morning.
